Qui suis-je ?
Après 17 ans de contribution à la recherche en biologie des plantes dans différents laboratoires (VIB, INRA, CNRS), j’ai décidé de participer activement à la transition écologique par la sensibilisation du grand public en enjeux liés au réchauffement climatique et à la dépendance aux énergies fossiles de notre mode d’alimentation.

Formé en 2009 par Terre & Humanisme à l’animation en agroécologie, j’ai co-fondé en 2011 l’association On Loge à Pied et participé bénévolement à son activité d’éducation à l’environnement par de nombreuses interventions en milieu scolaires (Cours Moyens, collèges et lycées) et pour du grand public (ateliers, formations et conférences).
Depuis 2018, je coordonne l’association ATH, réseau francophone des animatrices et animateurs en agroécologie.
Spécialisé en génétique des plantes et la préservation de la biodiversité cultivée
Après avoir étudié la génétique moléculaire et la physiologique humaine (Maîtrise, Université d’Angers), je me suis spécialisé dans l’étude des génomes (Master Pro, Université de Rouen). Mes expériences comme ingénieur d’études et de recherche m’ont amenées à étudier les génomes de la plante modèle Arabidopsis thaliana, le colza et le haricot commun. J’ai également utilisée différentes techniques de transgénèse pour des études sur la pomme de terre, la tulipe et le glaieul.
Aujourd’hui convaincu que l’avenir de notre alimentation ne peut reposer seul sur la recherche publique et les sociétés agro-semencières, il me parait indispensable de faire découvrir à chacun.e ce trésor indispensable qu’est la biodiversité cultivée issue de centaines de générations de paysans et d’expliquer comment collectivement nous pouvons participer activement à sa préservation.
